What is ReviewMe for writers? Well basically join and sign up your blog, you will be approved or unapproved at this moment I am unapproved because this blog is new and does not have many subscribers to my feed (please give me boost and subscribe). ReviewMe said they would contact me once my blog is approved. Once I am approved I will Post an example, and let you know how the payment process works out.

Review Me Requires that you put “sponsored ad” in your post. That your Post be a minimum of 200 words, and no affiliate links linking back even to the advertiser. Reviews must me dated and never altered after submission. Payments are received on the 4th of each month, and are available through paypal or check.

It seams that cost per article is based on your traffic, but pay seams to be much higher than other paid posting programs. I have to tell you I can not wait for my blog to be accepted because I seen some subjects that really seamed fun to do, almost like inspiration for writers block. Oh yeah, the cool thing you are not required to post positive, you are asked to do an honest review!

So, what is so controversial? That would be the “Sponsored ads Requirement”, It is thought that in the future that search engines will pick up on this and penalize the blog and not give the Advertiser the quality link back.

ReviewMe for advertisers is based on categories of advertising and for a full blown review prices range from $50 and Up. It would cost $500 to get a review on Johnchow.com ( I think I would be intimidated to be reviewed by him).

The other categories let you select the price for the campaign, bloggers subject matter etc.. the last, and most expensive, of course, lets also track all of the statistics of such advertisements. I will have to say that ReviewMe is a little rich for my little blog here but when I get to a page rank of 4, and signs up for my suggestions, then I will sign up for a advertiser campaign, and let you know if it is worthwhile.
