Choose the right Color for your Blog Theme
Your blog is your online store front, so when choosing a color for it, imagine yourself in a room painted in the chosen colors. Studies have been done that indicate color can actually change your mood. Here is some known color associations
Black- Power (hence the black business suit), dominance, evil. Also note that black is hard on a readers eyes.
White- Purity, Cleanliness
Yellow-Cheerful,happiness. Lets face it though yellow is hard to read on the internet
Blue-Trust, loyalty (hence the second business suit color choose)
Red- Fiesty, Rage, Hot. Red gets attention, so used in splashes where you want to call attention to something that is important.
Purple- Royalty, Passion
Green-Luck, money, fortune and a bit of trust. The trust is because green is a huge part of what we see in nature (grass,trees,etc..).
Pink- There have been studies of prisoners celled in pink rooms and the color actually made them physically and mentally weaker. There is no denying that the color pink is feminine. Pink is also associated with love. The perfect color for selling Valentines Cards or lipsticks.
In conclusion, take a little care in choosing colors and templates for your blogs or websites. Stop again, and imagine a room decorated in the colors you chose. Make sure you are creating the right atmosphere for your customers.

Actually, your blog is close to perfection. A Hint of black for power. Blue trustworthy and honesty. White Clean Background, that is easy to read.
Blue aesthetics are actually supposed to be the best for business. But, I think it is over used in some cases to the point of being bland.
I have seen quite a few black, and shades of grey business blogs. Those colors are good for selling gothic material, music, tattoos, art, etc..But really the coloring does not make you want to stay long and read the content. I was hoping the color awareness may help newbies.
Thank you for taking the time to comment on my new blog, and I have been watching your blog closely, keep up the good work
Now if I could get these durn wordpress widgets to do what I want, argh!
