Blog-Earnings.com Chooses Bluehost for Hosting Account
I have had a lingerie website at ladystrange.com hosted by bluehost for many years. Previous to this change I had ABCHost and had nothing but problems. bluehost was able to move my domain and have me up and running within a couple of days, I have had no problems since signing up with them and their packages are extremely competitive, plus they have few limitations on sites they serve, this was important due to the lingerie theme of my other site.
I have been blogging along in many locations for some time now. I have to really kick myself in the butt, because I did not realize that I could add on an extra domain name for $10 a year at my existing host. I could have up 6 domains on the same account.
So what are the pros and cons to having your own hosting package verses having a free blog at Wordpress or Blogger?
I have to admit wordpress and blogger are great ways to test your writing an html capabilities, and you get a natural flow of traffic through them due to the community tagging features.
The Wordpress cons are that they will delete you if you promote any other website, I know they suspended my account with them. Wordpress does not allow you to use javascript, or allow you to display any advertisements, making it nearly impossible to generate any income from your writings.
My biggest beef with blogger is that you can not create categories and your posts run in a straight line, and very limited themes.
If you are considering getting a hosting account please support Blog-Earnings.com and consider bluehost
Thank you
